English Pressrelease

The aim of Giulia Cilla, Alice Tomaselli and Nicola Trezzi project is to transform temporarily :

the spaces of Unorossodue gallery in a new space title TT©. The name is both the initial letter of the founders’ surname (Trezzi, Tomaselli, Cilla) and an abbreviation that chances from project to project:

TT©: Transdisciplinar & Transitorial CaffèTT©: Transdisciplinari & Transitori Casa editriceTT©: Transdisciplinar & Transitorial Curatorial ProjectsTT©: Transdisciplinar & Transitorial Contemporary Art Gallery

the logo of this group is the illustration of a rhizome.

The word rhizome was used as a title for the introduction of the book Mille Plateaux, written by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari. Rhizome is also a keyword from the vocabulary of botany. This keyword means a type of vegetable growth that is opposite to the binary one, such as trees with trunk and branches.

English ivy and potatoes are considered rhizomes. Starting from this concept Deleuze and Guattari defines a superflat intellectual system. Alice, Giulia and Nicola built a space with desks in Zurich, Dovera, Munich and Rio. In these spaces Alice, Giulia and Nicola propose shows of their own work and project by thinkers related to this concept. The elements of the works exhibited are the following: technical simplicity, high possibility to reproduce them and an easy level of being transportable.

TT© is like a boutique.TT© is like McDonald.TT© is like the Soros Center.TT© is like Utopia Station, is next to the Wrong Gallery, or Reena Spaulings Fine Art.TT© is like Gagosian Galleries.

TT© is like Martin Kippenberger’s tube stations.

TT© is like Sarah Lucas and Tracey Emin “The Shop,” or is similar to In A Gadda Da Vida by Angus Fairhurst, Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas displayed at the Tate Britain in 2004.

TT© wants to use visual art – and the art world –  as a territory where you can create a life style instead of objects and concepts.
